We love stockings!
Coming down in the morning and seeing them hanging up, just a few items peeking out from the top to tease you a bit. However, putting them together for others is often a last minute thing. So in the interest of making your planning a bit easier we thought we would highlight our Top 5 Stocking Stuffers for Surfers in 2023.
We focused on specialty items at approachable price points and would encourage you to visit your favorite local surf shop to pick them up for this year since we are so close to the holiday!

#1 Surf Wax
There are many different types of wax out there, just be sure to get the correct temperature rating for the water they intend to surf in. We love getting warm water wax because it reminds us we will be heading south at some point over the winter!
#2 Ding Repair Kit
These all in one kits help folks do basic ding repair in a timely fashion with a minimum of fuss. If they have never done a repair before the enclosed instructions are pretty straightforward, and there are plenty of YouTube videos as well.
#3 Neoprene Contact Cement
Wetsuits are not that environmentally friendly and they also cost a good bit, so trying to keep them around as long as possible is something we are big fans of. That is where neoprene contact cement comes in. We use it to repair small tears before they get bigger as well as any seam issues we have over time.
#4 Flip Flops
Flip Flops, thongs, slippers…they go by many names, but a pair of lightweight three point style sandals are a warm weather surfer staple, and super packable for travel. If they won’t fit in a stocking they might be a little too “built up”, just get the basic ones in the most sustainable materials possible!
#5 Sunscreen
Every surfer should wear sunscreen while out in the water and gifting it is a great way to show you care about a person’s long term health. We recommend some sort of mineral sunscreen because these are safer for people and the environment. Of course we are partial to our own brand packaged in metal to cut down on plastic waste, but your shop is sure to have options as well!
